Found in this region is the Lewa wildlife conservancy a private reserve drawing the largest number of tourists to the area. One of the many reasons for this is the fact that it is home to some of the most endangered species of wildlife including the black and white rhinos and the grevy’s zebra. BORANA LODGE:
Built in 1992 Borana lodge is superbly perched on the edge of Samangua valley enjoying a beautifully scenic panorama of the surrounding which comprises of Mount Kenya, Ngare Ndare forest and Lewa plains. The lodge is quite luxurious and has over the years seen it blend in with the surrounding natural splendor. It overlooks a dam usually filled by flood waters from the adjacent hills which in turn serves as a waterhole for the local wildlife a product of which is a live discovery show for the guests at the lodge to enjoy.
The lodge comprises of 8 cottages, four of which have large double beds and four have twin beds all queen size. All cottages offer privacy as all are well secluded from each other. IL NGWESI LODGE:
Excellently designed with spectacular views in all dimensions, the lodge is the epitome of safari accommodation in the area earning it an eco-lodge. It is perfectly nestled on a rocky outcrop in an area set aside by the group ranch for wildlife conservation. It offers two communal areas one with an infinity pool dropping away into the wilderness and a second in the front of the lodge overlooking the waterhole where wildlife is seen quenching their thirst whilst affording guests perfect scenery.
The accommodation comprises of 6 elegantly appointed bandas where five have single and double beds. The honeymoon suite and room 5 offer the unique opportunity to experience a night under the stars as they have large double beds with a raised platform on which beds can be rolled out. LOISABA LODGE

MUKUTAN RETREAT:
Exquisitely built in the African style of architecture the retreat is set in an exclusive hideaway offering simple yet sophisticated accommodation. The design is so outstanding that it earned it a place in the architectural digest in May 1995. It comprises of 3 traditional dwellings high up at the edge of a gorge with breathtaking panorama such as the mukutan gorge on the edge of the Great Rift Valley.

Located on one of Kenya’s private game reserves in Kenya the house is home to the famous millionaire Adnan Khashoggi. The house is luxurious and very comfortable in the serenity of the Ol pejeta conservancy retreating you back to the historic bygone days whilst giving you an authentic traditional Kenya experience of a farm house.

SABUK LODGE:
Located in Sabuk, a special hideaway and private land where guests are free to roam the surrounding on foot with no restrictions. The Sabuk lodge comprises of 6 large en suite open sided double or twin rooms, and the eagle cottage consisting of 2 bedrooms with a sitting room and pool.
All the rooms are built of stone, wood and thatch a perfect blend with the landscape each providing maximum comfort coupled with fabulous views even from the baths of most rooms! Each of the tents has a private verandah, which faces out over the river gorge 150 foot below.
There is an inviting main living area with lounge and dining room looking out on to the same awe-inspiring landscape. The swimming pool is the best place to cool off after a session of game driving in the hot sun; alternatively you may choose to take a refreshing dip in the river.
