Governors Camp at Masai Mara in Kenya

Little Governors Camp was built in 1976 in the Masai Mara in Kenya with its own independent structure around a watering hole that teems with birds and wildlife. Intimate in character, there are just 17 tents tucked around this watering-hole. From every veranda the view changes daily: Giraffe and Lion, Elephant and Warthog.

Getting here is an adventure in itself; you first have to cross the Mara River by boat, and then walk a short distance, escorted by armed guards, through the forest.
