Mapito Tented Camp
Mapito Tented Camp has 10 spacious walk-in tents provides an intimate atmosphere for only 20 people. The tents are equipped with running hot water bucket showers, mosquito nets and electricity powered by solar energy throughout the day.
Location:
The camp is located at Ikoma, just beyond the actual boundaries of the Serengeti National Park sitting snugly in a clearing surrounded by Acacia trees.
Accommodation:
Mapito tents are10 x 13 x 7, spacious and with en-suite bathroom facilities with flush toilets, wash basins, and hot bucket showers. Each luxury tent has its own spacious private verandah with a comfortable table and chairs, overlooking the Serengeti plains.
You can choose two twin beds or one king size bed. The beds have pillows, blankets and sheets.
Each tent has chairs, tables, a luggage rack, a large double bed or twin beds with mosquito nets and kerosene lamps surround the tent. There is a solar powered light in the tents.
