Mivumo River Lodge stands high on the banks of the slow, brown Rufiji River with glorious views down to the plunging torrents of Stiegler’s Gorge.

Location:
Mivumo River Lodge is located in the Selous National Reserve; 45 minutes flight from Dar es Salaam International Airport.

Accommodation:
Mivumo River Lodge has just 12 rooms each housed in a timbered chalet with private viewing deck and plunge pool. Each room is traditionally thatched with high vaulted ceilings and picture windows and features an engaging mix of classic safari antiques and ultra modern leather and rattan styled furniture. Each room has its own extensive private sun-deck, loungers, and plunge-pool and river views.
